Rutgers has a university site license for Qualtrics Survey Software, a cloud based service. The Qualtrics survey tool is available for use by Rutgers faculty, staff, and students in support of the university's educational mission and organizational goals. The survey service may not be used for personal or commercial gain.
Important: Surveys created with Rutgers’s Qualtrics license are NOT HIPPA-compliant.
While efforts are underway to obtain approvals, at this time we do not have a Business Associates Agreement in place to allow sensitive HIPAA or PHI data to be used with this service.
The recent renewal effective July 15, 2018 was upgraded to the Qualtrics Research Core 1 package which includes the following features:
- Adobe Analytics
- File Upload Question
- Text Highlighting
- Marketo Integration
- Offline App
- Salesforce Integration
- Signature Question
- SMS Surveys
- Tableau Integration
- Text IQ
To obtain a Qualtrics account at Rutgers:
- From your browser go to: rutgers.qualtrics.com
- Login with your NetID and password
- Create your account
- Click on ‘Help’ in the upper right menu for help getting started with Qualtrics.
Due to spamming issues, accounts are initially limited to about 10,000 emails per week unless owner agrees to additional spam guidelines. Please contact Rutgers support for more informaion.
