Rutgers Desktop Standards Program

The Rutgers Desktop Standards Program focuses on moving the University towards hardware optimization through standardized equipment for all faculty and staff. The program committee identifies the technical criteria for Rutgers’ recommended standard desktops and engages appropriate vendors in the bidding process. The desired outcome is for departments to standardize equipment purchases in order to increase support efficiency, lower hardware costs, and maximize interoperability.
