The Adobe VIP department administrator function manages the user licenses using an administrative portal provided by Adobe. They can add, remove or edit user information as necessary to update entitlements.

The department VIP Account Administrator must follow the process steps below:
Step 1: The Department Adobe VIP Administrator will need to obtain a quote from CDWG by sending an email to RUAdobe@cdwg.com and including the following information:
Step 2: The department then issues a requisition attaching the CDWG quote. Once the order has been processed, Adobe will make the licenses available in the department VIP Account Portal.
Step 3: Then the department account administrator will assign the licenses to the new users.

Step 2: The department’s Adobe VIP Administrator must accept the VIP invitation sent from Adobe.
Step 3: Once the new department VIP agreement has been created, CDWG will send the information as well as the linked agreement form to the Rutgers Adobe Membership VIP Administrator for sign-off and processing.
Step 4: Once completed the department Adobe VIP Administrator will be notified and receive a quote from CDWG.
Step 5: The department will then process the requisition for CDWG.
Step 6: Once the order has been processed, Adobe will send the department Adobe VIP Administrator a welcome email with instructions on how to get started.

An Adobe perpetual license is ordered under the CLP (Cumulative Licensing Program) Agreement via the Rutgers University Software Portal. Only Acrobat Pro, Photoshop Elements, and Premier Elements are available through a perpetual license if continuous upgrades are not required.
Yes. Subscriptions under the VIP agreement must be renewed annually on or before the designated renewal date. Adobe provides a 30-day grace period beyond the renewal date for all license renewals. An invoice is sent to the department Adobe VIP Administrator approximately 30 days before the renewal date. It is important that action is taken in a timely manner to allow for processing.
