What is Gartner Research?
Gartner Research is a database of information technology (IT) related research available to the Rutgers Community. Gartner provides in-depth research and analysis on IT issues, trends, companies, products and emerging technologies.
Rutgers community members can now access Gartner resources by logging on to the Gartner home page with your Net ID: https://gartner.rutgers.edu/

Permitted Uses and Restrictions:
Gartner is a paid subscription, and resources are available only to members of the Rutgers University community in accordance with the publisher's license agreement. The License agreement stipulates the following:
This electronic resource contains copyrighted material. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of reproductions of copyrighted materials. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a reproduction. One of these specific conditions is that the reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research."
Privacy:
When you register on the Gartner web site, Gartner asks you for your Net ID. This information is needed to determine whether you are an authorized subscriber and a member of the Rutgers’ community.

- Authorized Users may display, download, and print one copy of the Licensed Electronic Resource for the User’s own personal purposes.

- Authorized Users are not permitted to modify or create a derivative work from the Licensed Resource; remove, obscure, or modify any copyright or other notices; or use the Licensed Resource for commercial purposes.
